Brief Educational/Employment Background: Originally from New York, Caroline was raised in a middle class family in the middle of Queens. She had always done exceptionally in school, and she knew she interviewed well, so when it came time for her to go to high school, she applied to several prestigious private schools, looking to get ahead. She managed to wrangle enough scholarship money to attend the Lower East Side Prepatory School. While there, she learned to master the airs and ego carried by the other girls, and learned to pass as one of them to fit in. She still retained her high GPA, and when she was applying to colleges, she knew she was going Ivy League, and away from the city at that.

She attended Harvard for her undergrad, majoring in business management, and interviewed into a lower management position at one of the business in the area while she tried to pick a law school. She definitely didn’t want to go back to Harvard, so she applied to several other law schools and wound up at Hofstra. It wasn’t her first choice, but it had given her the most money, and unfortunately, money was what she needed. She still kept up her high academic standards and finished towards the front of her class, landing her a cushy job in entertainment law in Los Angeles soon after graduation. She found it wasn’t what she expected it to be, and she wasn’t getting as much attention as she had liked, so she practiced there long enough to get herself a good cushion to rely on, and packed up to move back to New York, looking to try cases with more headline potential.

Personality: Caroline is ambitious and attention-seeking. She does what she has to do to stay head, and uses her intelligence and more often than not her sexuality to stay ahead of the game. She likes to use the press, or at least the threat of it, to keep people usually her clients. However, she will throw press conferences to try and sway public opinion in order to get a leg up on the prosecution or plaintiff. She also still carries the air of superiority she picked up in high school, and uses it as a way to try and intimidate the people around her. However, she can be very friendly and flirtatious with someone who she knows has more power than her, and she wants to stay on their good side. She has a taste for the high class lifestyle, but she’s smart about it. She knows she needs a back-up in case everything goes to hell, so a lot of the stuff she owns is a very close knock off.
Likes/Dislikes: She likes it when things are about her. She rarely discusses other people outside the context of who they are to her and what they can to do her. Philanthropy is one of the farthest things from her mind, but she will occasionally work pro-bono in order to keep up appearances. She doesn’t like being talked down too, mostly because she knows she’s capable without the airs she puts on, and she finds it insulting. She also hates having to talk to cops. She never thought much of the men and women of New York’s finest to begin with, and while she keeps it to herself and rarely ever expresses it, it does tend to come out when she’s sitting in an interrogation.
Quirks: She’s a coffee addict, even though she doesn’t like to admit it. She tried switching to tea, but that didn’t last very long. She also tends to flirt with the lawyers she’s facing, just to throw them off balance slightly.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Her biggest strength is probably the fact that she’s very smart, and very quick on her feet. She knows the law very well, and will have the prosecution or plaintiff swimming in motions and loopholes often before the trial even starts. One of her biggest weaknesses, however, is the idea that someone will poke a hole in this persona she’s created for herself, and she does her best to cover all her bases when it comes to it. She’s very good at playing off people’s emotions and pushing their buttons, and if she feels the conversation/argument start to focus on her too much, she will immediately turn in back on them.
